Finished 0-2, still unclear who scored the second but Barry definitely took the penalty, for  once.

Heads up for Aussies. The games in the US are being shown on Optus if you are a subscriber.

I read that Gatwick airport staff are on strike from Thursday 3rd August until Monday 7th August - lots of flights have been cancelled

I won't be able to 'nip down' for the weekend as I'll be having a spot of surgery that week. :-(

U21s currently 2-0 up against Birmingham City lite.

I think that as a look at the Moors fan base tonight-  it really is Aston Villa lite nowadays. I saw 1 overt Blues fan.

Quite funny going to my Lads nursery and seeing Villa parents and kids outnumbering Blues by about 4 to 1.
In Shirley.

As I said their fanbase never grew much even after 2002 and ours continued even when  we were crap under Lambert etc Al.

Now we are everywhere and they aren't

Same: Chelmsley.

Same in Castle Brom too, my lad had Sports Day on Wednesday at Park Hall and despite him not really being bothered with football, was delighted to tell me that Sweet Caroline was played at the end of the day and all the kids were lustily singing our modified chorus.

Is this Sunday night at 12 or Monday night at 12?

Mail saying Monday at midnight, which suggests Sunday night to me.

Will there be a summer series thread for the upcoming games
It makes sense in many ways.

Maybe everything will remain on this thread, footy?

I believe the Walsall game was covered here.
