No pressure on the ref though was there.  We just sort of shrugged a bit.  Not saying that's wrong or right, but this team is more timid than some other teams in this league.

Imagine rat face Fernández he would be jumping on the ref screaming

In the day's glamour tie, Bath City are losing 2-0 to St Albans City at a very pleasant, sunny Twerton Park.

The ref is a joke. Watching the game on Portuguese tv and even the Portuguese commentators couldn’t believe that decision over as obvious a pen as you’ll ever see!

I think that's the clearest handball I've ever seen

It was a hell of a save to be fair.

Exactly.  We all know Man City/Utd or Liverpool would get that call at home.  It's blatant.

I cant understand how that was not a pently it was going on target, and the defenders hand knocked it over.

I just cant understand how that isn't a pen surely that's the text book definition of a pen

The ref needs to be advised by VAR to go and have a look. That they didn’t even do that is a failure of the system. I can accept, albeit begrudgingly a decision but if you have the technology use it. And give the ref on the pitch the option to review.

There was one this week where the defender had his back to the attacker, jumped and it hit him from three feet away. Penalty given. The decision today was from much further away, his hands were in an unnatural position and he was facing the player. Utter shit.

Playing great stuff at times and the injection of a bit of quality will make all the difference. Still vulnerable though, we look too relaxed now and again.

And that handball? Another reason, on top of all the others that there is absolutely no point in VAR.

Clearly didn't touch his thigh. Blatant pen
What's the actual point of VAR if it doesn't pick up blatant, potentially game changing mistakes?

That is as clear a penalty as you can get.

Ten minutes are taken on precision millimetre offside decisions but blatant handballs are waved away. Fucking wankers!
