They also have Olise and Eze. Fortunately they don't have a recognised goal scorer.
They gang up on teams and exploit physical weaknesses.

Eze has been starting on the bench for the last five or six games, too.

Zaha always seems to have a good game against us, unfortunately, and he makes a BIG difference to the way Palace play.  If he's fit to play (I think he's missed four games?), I'll be surprised if he's fit enough to do a full 90.  It was a hamstring, so he won't have been doing much fitness work in meantime.

It's a big test for Matty Cash. It might be Palace, but Zaha is about as difficult a winger as there is to face in the league.  If Cash plays well against him, or we can find a way to stop the supply to him while he's hugging the line, I think we'll win comfortably.

I hope Zaha plays and Cash is tasked to deal with him. Time for him to step up and show Emery what he is made of. If he plays again like he did in the first half v Everton then he might not have a future with us.

Crystal Palace are on the longest current winless run in the Premier League, failing to win any of their eight games in 2023 so far

I think we all know what happens next....

Since Emery took over, the table reads thus:

1. Arsenal - 30 points
2. Man United - 28 points
3. Man City - 26 points
4. Newcastle - 23 points
5. Tottenham - 22 points
6. Aston Villa - 22 points

If we can improve our home form against the likes of Palace, weighed in context with Leicester and Wolves (games we ought to, but did not, win) then the improvements in the summer ought to make us a lot more competitive.

The away league table would be interesting since Emery took over. Huge improvement since Gerrard went.

It's been too long since we thought like that.
