Good half that.

Can't fathom why Saka didn't get a card of some description for slamming his studs into Moreno's shin. We need to keep winding him up in the second half, and he'll be off.

We have played well and matched them for the most part. They had all the possession for the period before their goal but we grew back into the game from there. We've played some nice, quick, technical stuff, like for the goal, and I've loved seeing it.

It still feels like we have more to give too. We're not at our limit.

Can we bring back Prize Where It Lies? That was more fun than these penalties.

What are people making of Captain McGinns half?
Think he's done a few tackles but not seeing him fit in our play.
Seems bewildered. But then so did Ramsey in recent matches.

Does the off the ball stuff better than Ramsey, so offering more on current form. Only had 45 minutes against Arsenal first game back.

He probably just has a bit of rust. He's done some nice stuff. With a run of games I'm sure he'll grow in stature.

Must be some secret embargo on us not entering the top half. Just checked the league table and we're still stuck in 11th even if we win!

He needs to work on his velar enunciation of 'jota'.

Absolutely buzzing for Coots, he needed that. He's going to explode now. That goal will put a spring in his step and a fire in his belly.

RIP Phil.

OK good. The worrying thing is we lead twice again Leicester and lost the game and Ollie has scored in both previous matches and not won the game. Come on Villa make it different today.
Today feels different, and under El Maestro, this is a good opportunity for players to demonstrate what they've learned, even if it wasn't all the same team of players.
I'm hoping for a more 3-1 Manchester United home performance than a 2-4 Leicester performance in the second half.

Saka finally sees something yellow from the Refs pocket.

Deserved.

He shouldn't be on the pitch in the first place.

That ankle stomp on Moreno deserved a straight red, no questions, straight down the tunnel to cry in the shower.

Its then doubly suspect because he should have at least got a yellow, at the very least, which would mean that the yellow he received just before HT would have been his second yellow, no questions, straight down the tunnel to cry in the shower.

So he should have been red carded on two separate occasions...

I wonder if the media & the officials in charge of the officials will have a week long bitch fest about how Villa have been fucked over? Twice.

Rhetorical question...

We will see changes second half, can't see Phil lasting past sixty and McGinn short of match practice.
