Footy, didn’t you say that Emery dismissed Digne as “that player” with a little hand wave in his pre-game presser and he wouldn’t get selected today?
Yes his statement clearly was intended to appear as a bluff but is in fact genuine that he wanted Digne in for this as tactically he is more suited to this game.
Also there's a chance Digne could take the penalty.

Imagine the idea to attack the holte is to get ahead and have a good start. It's interesting psychology by Emery.

Buendia frustrates me way he can get in the way of things or loses ball and get threatened in trainisiton.
