Didn't we have two stonewall penalties before they "scored"

Defiantly the second one. First one was 50/50 but I think the keeper got to the ball first. Just!

We are getting results and playing actual football. The house isn’t on fire lads.

These are just fantastic days. Top owners, elite manager, getting results, being smarter off the pitch and yet sometimes we still find negatives to obsess over. Enjoy the weekend!

Indeed 🙄

Didn’t follow the game in the most part, got in the car to find out Southampton had scored, followed by, according to 5Live, much protesting from our players then it’s finally ruled out, not sure what for?
Looked at the score on my phone in the shop and Ollie had scored.
No clue how we played, whether it was deserved or not but a great 3 points and that’s, I think, 3 away league wins on the bounce. Moving on up, get in there!!

The southampton player trod on Ramseys heel as the cross came over, it was a clear foul no matter how many people call it soft.

Cheers Paul, not seen it yet but Danny Murphy thought it was a clear foul, Chapman and the commentator at the ground indicated it was a soft decision. Oh well!!
definitely a foul

Looks like it was an eventful afternoon. Cursing myself for ballsing the chance to get a ticket for it.

What was the drone all about? Also, why did we only have 8 on the bench? Been at work so not been able to follow game much

Great win. If I've got one grump, we did try and pass it into the net again but we did looked really tidy on the ball for the majority of the time.

A game between a team battling for their survival and one in transition wasn't a classic. Stone me...

Winning a game where we should win is always satisfying. Southampton are where they are for a reason and I am pleased we put an end to “Look at Nathan Jones at Saints” band wagon. It’s a very good weekend😆

Martinz got his mate to send it up to waste time and confuse the Southampton players and it worked

The turnaround in results is incredible, just imagine how good we'll be when we get better quality players in.

Martinez is playing in the sort of form & with a level of confidence that makes him practically unbeatable.

But we'll need attacking reinforcements over the next 2 weeks if we want a top 8 finish.

If only Emery can add a good striker and winger, I really think we might be at the stage that passports may be required!!

However I am still fuming about the two cup defeats.

We are grinding out results with flashes of what we can become with players who do not fit properly into Emery's system. Imagine what we could be with players that do fit his system? I don't want to get carried away because Villa have broken my heart before, but by jove, just imagine!

Enjoy  8)

Tbh the vast majority of the comments seem to be a fair view. They were shit and we were a bit better.

Some salty buggers on there. They've won 1 game at home all season, they're bottom but not adrift yet.

Be a good lad and get back to work. Someone has to pay the country’s debt whilst rest of us are ball watching.😘

Also - one final point - I think that JWP is a good player - and would have liked us to get him when we were interested a few years ago.  BUT, that stupid golf swing thing he does when he scored is just shit
