Seeing Kadan Young play like a proper winger begs the question why we brought Sancho in: both KY and Ben Broggio have demonstrated some potential and I'd like to have seen them get more gametime before now.
The jump from under 21s to first team is so big that I think we wouldn't be third if Young had been playing all of Sancho's minutes this season. Really pleased the boys off the bench played well last night and it's a great sign but there's a long way to go for them.
I think there's also a difference in starting a game compared with coming on against tired opposition. The step up for Hemmings was huge in the first half because he's being pressed by fresh players so a very different prospect to his previous cameos late in games.
