Does anyone know if J.Hughes  (Umpire) in the picture is the same Jack Hughes (the first goal scorer for Aston Villa) ?

Some good taches here, especially the chap LH front. Also some rather splendid beards.

Bet they didn't get laid much though.

Good clean living Wesleyan methodists every one of them !

A bunch of hipsters with a few Steampunks thrown in. Most of them clearly serving drip coffee as a side hustle and having twee picnics with ukulele singalongs by the looks.

The only one in that shot getting any action is C.S Johnstone. No religion is holding him back from getting what's his.
H Ball looks like he's on the run from the rozzers.

Wiki

Thomas Edgar Ball (11 February 1900 – 11 November 1923) was an English footballer who played at centre-half for Aston Villa. He was shot dead by his landlord and neighbour, ex-policeman George Stagg, thus becoming the first and to-date only active Football League player in England to have been murdered.[2][3]

So the photo was taken 20 years before he was born?

He was 78 years older than me to the day. I bet he could still run more than I can.

Kaden Young has just scored his second goal for the U21's at The Snorethorns. Currently 0-4 up.

The lad went to school in big Albion territory of Oldbury. Good lad!
