3 points is all that matters. We were due a bit of good fortune and we received it.

A few more ins are still needed.

Kamara was outstanding tonight so I’m wondering why Sky gave MoM to Bailey??

They were too busy wanking off about Gnonto for them

Let’s be honest he looks a player.

Good to win when you’re not playing well and that’s a game that we would have lost under most of our previous managers so the Unai effect is clear to see.

I thought Leeds were good in attack but naïve and how are we going to replace Ashley Young? He was immense and taught the young Leeds winger a few football lessons.

Kamara is such a wonderful footballer. The best in our squad by a country mile. Mings & Konsa wont be our long term CBs. They just cant do it. The style Emery wants is beyond their ability levels. Its a good job we have Carlos as a starting point when he is back fit next season. A left footed CB to partner him & we will become a very different side. A less shit one. Yet, we still won while playing shit today. That would not have happened under Gerrard & maybe its a glimpse of where we could be heading. But I cant get too excited too early. Villa have broken my heart more times than I care to remember. So cautiously thinking, over time, we might become a little less shit than we are now...

I can't see the point of rating Moreno, who has been here for 5 minutes, and whose debut was prematurely precipitated by Digne's injury. Then again, they are all overpaid prima donnas so fuck it! 6 it is!

Despite all their possession, Leeds did fuck all with it.  They had 4 shots on target to our 5.  With more composure up top, we'd have put them to bed and avoided the late stress.  Why did their keeper not get sent off?  Martinez made a couple of good saves.  That's what he does.  That's what he's there for.  The fact that he makes it look so easy is just what he does!!  Kamara was outstanding and I want us to sign him his Marseille mate to play next to him.  A useful 3 points, rode our luck a little bit but we continue to learn and develop.  I do hope for another couple of players in.  Moreno was much more settled in the second half and looks a threat going forward.

Yes, good point forgot about this.
That was a straight red!

As I said on the match thread, I'm not sure the professional foul aspect (i.e. stopping a scoring chance) was a straight red and I'm not sure it was quite dangerous enough to be a straight red (but it was borderline) but it was definitely wortha  yellow in both cases. I've never even thought about someone getting 2 yellows for the same foul so no idea if it's a thing but I think he was a very lucky boy.

I thought Koch was lucky as well because before his booking he had already gone straight through the back of Ramsey and got away with it.

I'm also not sure how Adams and Ayling got away without being booked, both seemed to kick anyone who went near them all game.

How is Ayling a Premier League player? I'm all for players who come up through the divisions, but he looks like he should still be at Yeovil Town.

I hope Emi doesn't pick up too many more bookings though.  We don't want that plank Olsen back in goal any time soon!

A wins a win but that horific mistake by Mings could have turned the game, he is so good at desperate defending but looks too casual with the ball at his feet. We have a geat keeper, probably the best ever, a couple of saves were unbelievable. Bailey was a constant threat all day, but Danny needs replacing, he runs around a lot and it wasn't his fault they kept lobbing the ball up to him but i can't remember one instance where he affected the game. Kamara will attract big offers over the next twelve months.

Just seen the interview with their manager, he wasn't nearly as bitter as I'd hoped, I'm quite disappointed tbh.
