Started really well, but have gradually regressed into the kind of nothing performance we have seen far too often.  We've got to compete physically with these and we aren't in too many areas.

We had 1 shot. Utter dross

We’re winning, so utter dross is probably a bit far.

We are, but more by luck than judgement.

This 4-4-2 with two non wide players is shit. Take Buendia off, and stick Bailey Ramsey and Coutinho behind Ings.

Buendia totally anonymous. Bailey very patchy. Don’t get the Dougie hate - think he’s been solid.

I love Dougie on the ball but he cant tackle and goes down a bit too easy. The Rodrigo chance Dougie just went sprawling on the floor.

When in possession the football is quite wonderful. Controlling the tempo and beating the press.
Really enjoying that side of things.
Maybe a bit too confident as have let Leeds back into it and didnt offer enough in going forward more wanted to show we are a better footballinh team.
Think Leeds had their chances and Villa learn at half time
Lets put it to bed with early 2nd half goals.
Hopefully Oliver keeps a handle on things as there going to be a sending off at this rate

Up The Villa

Score another 5 and we go above Chelsea. Very good chance that will happen.

Whatever the score ends up being here, this game shows me how much we need a more physical partner for Bouba Kamara.

decent first 5 mins, then it's been all Leeds. If we went in 3-1 down we couldn't complain.

Blimey, can always guarantee the match thread will bring you down to Earth.
We're winning, having scored a great goal, beating dirty Leeds, and Emi has made a stupendous save to deny the f***ers.

I've had worse Friday nights.
Did you not see the game against Stevenage when we went 1 up in the first half?

Yep, but I prefer to look on the bright side rather than assuming we're going to louse it up again. Glass half full me.

Yes Buendia is such a desperado sometimes way he carries on

Dougie has been erratic with his tackling and fouling first half

He's a great footballer but too many fouls but its part of the plan to be competitive and get to the ball first tonight that has seen slight change in his play.

Kamara , Young, Mings and Konsa playing it well

Martinez and Young are just a joy!

He would absolutely relish this type of game.
