Rah rah rah! We're going to smash the oiks!
We won't fuck this up. Things will click, and we'll go a good way towards reversing our negative GD. 4-0.

Could really do with a win here.

Checked into the Crowne Plaza and there's 80 Norwegian Lions staying here. B6 is becoming day tripper central.

I'd hardly call our loyal, long suffering fans in Norway 'day trippers', you may be  ;) but they certainly aren't, they're Villa mad. My eldest daughter now lives in Oslo and is a proud member of the Norwegian Lions but couldn't make the trip due to work commitments. They're a great bunch and I hope we get a win and they get to see it, the beer prices in Brum are extremely attractive compared to their local pubs and bars. Those Villa Vikings like a drink or two.

Enjoy!

Do you know where they will be drinking before the game?

My guess would be the Bartons unless the club have lined up something for them.

Not seen Fred on here for a while, but if he does come on, there are just over 100 tickets left for this game.  For a Friday night against Leeds.  Not sure where that leaves us vis-a-vis the season ticket waiting list.

Met Brad Friedel last night and I am taking it as a good omen, 3-0 to the Villa.

I now have visions of a table full of vikings sitting in the Holte Suite singing 'Skol Skol Skol Skol'.

The bloke who used to run the Norwegians, Trond, had hollow legs.

Where did you meet him, in a dream or on Fashion Street, just off Brick Lane?

This is the one match I really want to win as I despise Leeds. It goes back to the 70s as a child walking home with my parents after a match against Leeds. I remember being really frightened as the police shoved us and other fans into a corner and glass rained down all around us.

Come on Villa fight back, let's smash em in the right way.

To be fair this happened a lot in the 70s but the Leeds incident sticks in my mind the most.

He's still going strong, though not sure if he's over today. Talking of Trond's legs, surprised you never had his broken when he set up magazine/fanzine Villa Mania back in 93.  ;)

Might be getting massively carried away here seeing as we got turned over by a League Two outfit last weekend, but 7-9 points out of the next three games could put us in a strong position.

Competition was never a problem.
