Let's hope that in next year's third round we're drawn away to Man Utd/Man City/Liverpool/Arsenal. At least the inevitable defeat won't be a humiliating embarrassment.

Have we ever been involved in a more embarrassing FA Cup exit.
Total humiliation

Sell everyone on the pitch for us.
Clearly not up to it.

Clearly not our year. Again.

Bailey hasn't got 'it', Coutinho has lost 'it', Olsen never had 'it' and Cash has close to fuck all end product. Our 2nd string is just piss poor.

Stevenage deserved it.

Well done Stevenage. No complaints.

Sadly, I have really grown to hate the FA Cup. Pretty much my entire life, all I can remember are the 2000 & 2015 finals, losing to Man Utd (often in improbable circumstances) and generally playing like we don't care.

I don't even think of it as a competition at the beginning of the season, rather a tedious and usually brief obligatory stroll towards embarrassment.

The manager has disrespected our club and has shown no understanding of the FA Cup.
Idiotic
and the players gave it 100% and shown full respect for the FA cup :)

However, it is not uncommon for Emery's Arsenal teams to make mistakes when playing out of the back. So seen that before
As comfortable as it was, I was disappointed hadn't had a cushion of goals towards the end.

And Dendoncker must be blamed for the defeat. His daydream and fouling led to the penalty and sending off. It was never a penalty because it was a foul outside the box. It's very poor officiating and VAR use.
I then thought well very poor to draw this match.
But of course somehow we contrived to lose as concede second goal.
And here it was blame Buendia for losing possession up field and conceding the corner, Watkins for failing to come out to block the shot, and Olsen for failing to save it.

It's truly unbelievable.
I can't quite fanthom how we actually lost as a draw was annoying enough.

What utter garbage. He has won more cups in ten years than we have in 40 years. He hasn't signed a single player yet. A premier-league squad should be beating Stevenage, it's on the players.

That must go down as the worst giant killing embarrassment in my Villa supporting life. Pathetic.

Olsen back to his Nyland impression. It's like having no keeper at all.

Not that he's solely responsible for that catastrofuck.

Well played Stevenage.

We're big on video data now, apparently. This match should be played and played again to Emery or any future Villa manager tempted to piss about with selections to that degree in a major cup competition.

Every Prem team plays squad players in the FA Cup. We had by far the better players on the pitch today but our "game intelligence" was woeful.

And that winning goal an absolute horror-show. A Sunday League team wouldn't defend a corner like that.

When you take the piss with your selections this is what happens.

There was nothing much wrong with the selection, the team picked should of have had more than enough to beat a team from Div 2. The players are to blame here.
