Apparently that’s the second time in all of his 70 odd Wimbledon matches that Djokovic has won the first set and not gone on to win the match. And in the first he retired injured.

Also, the first time in over 10 years he's lost a match on centre court.

The geezer in the Djokovic camp wearing the blue Lacoste top looks like a cross between Tom Jones and Johan Cruyff.

I had never heard of Carlos Alcaraz before this tournament and given his record find it surprising that he was #1 seed. But he beat that utter twat Djokovic and just for that he is a hero

Me neither. He’ll be winning many more of these too I’m sure. 20 years of age and he’s won $21million in prize money already. Fair play to him.

Alcaraz is the first player outside the top 4 to win Wimbledon in 20 years.

Also it never ceases to amaze me how many famous people get lucky in the ticket ballot for Wimbledon.

Then you obviously don’t follow tennis, which is fine.

I'd imagine Brad Pitt gets lucky quite a bit.

Djokovic is probably one of the top 3 greatest players of all time, quite brilliant but I’ve never liked him. I’m not a huge fan of Nadal either with his constant picking his pants out of his arse crack all the time and being a clay court specialist. Federer was the most naturally gifted player I’ve ever seen and was smoother than anyone alive. I’m glad their era is coming to an end though as to be quite frank the last few years has been deathly dull with no new talent coming through.

Djokovic played well but there was just no way he could escape from Alacaraz.

The level of the tennis was incredible, I hazard to guess how many times I said "How the hell has he got to that?".

Six Brits, Boulter, Burrage, Murray, Norrie, Evans and Draper, all through to the 2nd round, blimey can't remember the last time that happened in a major.

After saying he reckons he's in the best form, since  his injury woes started in 2017, Murray goes out in the 2nd round with a pretty feeble display against Dimitrov, beaten in straight sets. Good news is Boulter, Draper, Norrie all through and also Evans, the bad news is, next up for the Villa man, Carlos Alcaraz.

Djokovic had a bit of a scare last night, having to come from 2 sets down to get through, going for 3 Brits to get through to the 2nd week, Boulter, Norrie and Draper, unfortunately can't see Evans beating Alcaraz, but you never know.
