Fred won't be happy. Nearly 6000  empty seats? Bloody disgrace, we should sell Villa Park  and share  ground with Walsall.

Gillingham. rock bottom of League 2 with just 7 goals all season,  only lost 0-1 to a strong Leicester starting eleven.

We best not take Stevenage too lightly!!!

Yes, I agree. I would much rather start with a strong team, rather than have to bring on the stronger players as subs if things aren't going so well.

That's a bigger crowd than I was expecting given the opposition and it being on TV. Only 530 tickets left for the Leeds game.

I'd imagine the majority of ST holders took advantage of the free ticket, so with away fans you'd figure that's around 30-31k for starters.

No 3rd round fairy tales yet mmm. Although I suppose Wolves could beat Liverpool

I think he’ll change a few and some of these on the ‘fringe’ will get some minutes.

Olsen
Bednarek
Chambers
Augustinsson
Sanson
Dendoncker
Nakamba
Coutinho

Didn't know Steve Evans was their manager, looking at his wiki page he's had a long managerial career and also a checkered one. He's done a good job with Stevenage so far this season, finished 21st last season, now 2nd from top.

Here we go: our annual journey to more heartache and pain. It gets harder to be enthusiastic as time goes on.  :'(

Surely we can get through to the 4th round in the first time in years? Surely we can beat Stevenage? Surely?

Pretty please Villa. Thanks! x

Win today and in theory we have a good chance of getting a decent draw in the next round. We'll probably get Citeh or Yanited away though. :(

No, fuck that. Play the team that started on Wednesday against dingles.
