For those who may have known him
« on: January 05, 2023, 11:19:32 PM »
Had a very sad call from my closest cousin to say her husband John Howells had passed away Wednesday morning. John was a season ticket holder for many decades and sat behind the Villa dug-out four rows from the back, he was eighty years old. We used to stand behind the Witton end together in our twenties, over the years most of our telephone conversations was about the fortunes or misfortunes of our beloved club. I watch all Villa games but have never managed to spot him behind the dug-out. I just thought there may be posters who knew him.
