I was offered a ticket in the home end and very nearly passed on it. I'm so tired seeing us lose there.  But bloody hell, Spurs were going through the motions, whereas we wanted it more.

Just that bit of snap in the tackle, chasing and harrying.  It's sounds so simple, but it's been missing for so long. 

Great to watch a team playing for the manager and supporters for a change.  Having a plan and executing it as well as they can.  I hope we're at the start of something special.

I hear what you say and so glad you got to see that as you had doubts but really you were able to enjoy the 1st game of the new year with a victory and would add the players were very disciplined in what they were doing. That was good to see!
Well done on taking the game in you obviously had some faith for a positive result!
Did you hum quietly along to Villa till I Die as that was heard very strongly on the television! Can imagine had a good wry smile when the goals went in!

Great start to the New Year!  Listened to it on the radio driving home and have to say that as good as it was listening to the goals, it was very pleasing to hear the Spurs fans booing and singing about Levy getting out of their club.

Good start for Unai Emery really with 9 points from 12 against Manchester United, Brighton away, Liverpool at home and Spurs away.

Also, I don't like to mock anyone for missing a penalty unless they're a complete twat (which I don't think Kane is), but BBC commentary just said "for Harry Kane, the bar is set so high..." Not high enough for one of his penalties though, surely?

Whilst waiting for MOTD2 I watched SSN for about 30 minutes. Their coverage was all about Spurs losing than the Villa winning. So far the MOTD2  coverage has been very complimentary and has praised our tactics.
