Inevitably there will be a lot of media speculation about Emi's omission. Already started in the studio.

More surprised that Cash isn’t back in place of Young, who I thought really showed his age against Liverpool.
Young against Son fills me with fear, especially with butterfingers in goal.
Hoping they ram my prediction down my throat, but Spurs would have been there for the taking with Martinez and Cash in that 11… Opportunity missed, similar to the league cup tie against Man  Utd

Buendia needs a good game today, was disappointed in him against Liverpool.

And put the chances away villa , don't want another Spurs game when we had chance after chance and still got beat 4 0.

Good to see sanson on bench and countinho who looked sharp in training to e fair .

Before the game, it’s the right decision not to play Martinez. There’s no way he’s mentally ready to play.

Cash had a hamstring before he went to the WC & he ran himself into the ground whilst there. He might still have some issues. I think Young will handle Son better than Cash would.

Of course if we lose & Olsen or Young are shite, it’s the wrong decision.

Martin Laursen scored the winner last time we played Spurs on New Years Day, how we could do with him today.

Olsen has played just over three and a half games for us. We lost 3-2, 4-0, 4-2 and 3-1 in them. Even in the game he didn't play for the first half an hour he still conceded 4.

You know when sometimes you drop something and you do that thing where, when you try to catch it, it sort of bounces off your hands and arms before hitting the deck?

That's what I think of when I see us attempt to play it out from the keeper and across the back four.

Terrifying.

At least he's consistent.

If Martinez is fit enough for the bench he’s fit enough to play. It is absolutely baffling that Olsen is starting ahead of him.
