Different times, and no substitutes at that World Cup, but the bravery he showed by staying on and hobbling through the Portugal game was incredible.

I'm happy to say that I was at both games. I remember the crowds queuing to get into VP for the Santos game and would agree with Dave W that there were probably more than declared actually got in to witness the game. The dimming of the floodlights was hilarious.
My claim to fame is that I missed seeing Pele twice! Queued until after half-time at The Holte End for the Santos friendly  before heading home disappointed. Remember people climbing the outside wall on Witton Lane and being hauled in by mates on the other side. Then just got into The Clock End at Highbury for kick off because of the traffic delays so missed him then too!
