Do we get a trophy and if so is it bigger than the Inter toto

Can’t be bigger than that cup we won in Duisburg

That Broja injury looked horrible, but only slightly less horrible looking was the way Konsa was ambling around with the ball totally unaware he was there, literally inches from the goal line when he went in for the tackle.

Good performance and result today, but fuck me, some of that casual arseing around with the ball following short passes from the keeper is going to get absolutely exploited if it goes on in the PL.

I’m sure it’s been covered on another thread, but where is Jacob Ramsey?

I don’t think Mings or Konsa have long term futures under Emery. Neither are overly comfortable playing it out of defence. I thought Konsa might be given how he started his career with us but he can be every bit as a careless as Mings.

Injured by Buendia in training.

On what Vinnie said here yesterday or the day before, Emery really really wants Pau Torres, and I totally understand why.

Agreed, plus it's not good for the heart. One of the things I noticed about France last night was that while they often zipped the ball around nice and crisply in defence, on many occasions Lloris was quite happy to launch it long rather than invite calamity by sticking rigidly to the 'pass it out from the back' mantra.

My only hope this way is that Diego comes back and becomes the sweeper.  Mings distribution is too slow

Konza was never good enough and having seen chambers recently neither is he.

A little unfair. Konsa was indicating to Olsen to come and clear. Olsen was just staring and going "Dddduuuuuuhhhhhh". Konsa was aware Borja was there though as he then made the decision to turn away with the ball once he realised Olsen was staring at a butterfly, hence the injury,

Although I do agree that the players we have, dithering like that at the back will cause issues.

Unlucky not to score with a nice curling shot.

Kadan Young did well too when he came on. He made Cucurella look a chump more than once.
