-
It's being streamed live for free on the Chelsea YouTube channel.
-
You can watch it on the Villa site for a 99p donation to Aston foodbank

Playing out from the keeper. Terrifying to see us do it.
-
Fuck, that clearly hurt.

That was horrible to hear

Playing out from the keeper. Terrifying to see us do it.
Especially when that keeper is Olsen.
-
Konsa shouldn't have taken too long on the ball!!!
-
Fucking hell we are SO risky with this playing it out from the keeper stuff.
I know it's a half-arsed friendly, but it is still terrifying.
-
What happened with the injury?
-
What happened with the injury?
We were fuckign about at the back (for a change), Konsa had the ball, Broja went in to tackle and hurt himself. Some quite unpleasant, loud screams, five minutes of treatment on the ground and then stretchered off.

I think it might only be available live in the UK and Eire

Hutchinson for them looks a very good player
-
Raikhy curls a lovely shot off the post.
-
A near first choice 11 struggling against a second 11 chelsea team. Started to get better towards the end of the first half but some worrying moments.
-
You can't read too much into this, it's being played at walking pace.
And we're not struggling enough to not be winning, obvs!

It's a workout more than anything. What's to worry about?

You know it’s not a real game right? It’s a friendly friendly in hot conditions.

Ah, picture and sound disappears. Except Woodward's voice. Nightmarish dystopian scenario ahoy.

Youtube chat on games is generally a cesspit of shite. But this comment amused me
I want to thank Jason Cundy. My grandmother has been in a wheelchair for 37 years and today she finally stood up just to turn off Jason Cundy’s commentary

🎶Champions of the Al Wahda Challenge Cup, you'll never sing that🎶
(from the YT chat). Made me chuckle.
-
I saw a clip on he injury to Broja. It looked really nasty but it seemed it stemmed from him making a tackle on our defender.

With a bloke breaking out of a football?!

That Broja injury looked horrible, but only slightly less horrible looking was the way Konsa was ambling around with the ball totally unaware he was there, literally inches from the goal line when he went in for the tackle.
Good performance and result today, but fuck me, some of that casual arseing around with the ball following short passes from the keeper is going to get absolutely exploited if it goes on in the PL.
-
I’m sure it’s been covered on another thread, but where is Jacob Ramsey?
-
I don’t think Mings or Konsa have long term futures under Emery. Neither are overly comfortable playing it out of defence. I thought Konsa might be given how he started his career with us but he can be every bit as a careless as Mings.

Injured by Buendia in training.

On what Vinnie said here yesterday or the day before, Emery really really wants Pau Torres, and I totally understand why.

Agreed, plus it's not good for the heart. One of the things I noticed about France last night was that while they often zipped the ball around nice and crisply in defence, on many occasions Lloris was quite happy to launch it long rather than invite calamity by sticking rigidly to the 'pass it out from the back' mantra.

My only hope this way is that Diego comes back and becomes the sweeper. Mings distribution is too slow
Konza was never good enough and having seen chambers recently neither is he.

A little unfair. Konsa was indicating to Olsen to come and clear. Olsen was just staring and going "Dddduuuuuuhhhhhh". Konsa was aware Borja was there though as he then made the decision to turn away with the ball once he realised Olsen was staring at a butterfly, hence the injury,
Although I do agree that the players we have, dithering like that at the back will cause issues.

Raiky suddenly seems to be getting a chance.
-
I've always like Raiky whenever I've seen him.

Unlucky not to score with a nice curling shot.
Kadan Young did well too when he came on. He made Cucurella look a chump more than once.

*pissed up*!
Oh wait … after a whole pot of tea?

Well done John Macgin.
