We played QPR away in September 1983 and I traveled on the supporters club coach. Terry Weir was on board and gave me a lift to Great Barr after we got back to Villa Park and he said that he always travelled with the fans. I didn’t think to ask why.

Isn't God helping him with the promo? He should.

Looks like he's written the foreword.

I can't imagine him wanting to do anything publicly.

That would be an interesting book to read. How long was Jim here? Late 80s to about 2003, think he left the year we had O'Leary come in.

Must be a fair old age now as I thought he was coming up to 60 when I first started going in 1997 but doing him a disservice I imagine!

Great club servant anyway.

He's 78, joined us in 1986 and left for Walsall 2004.

He's loved at Chester from his time there as a player.
