Unai messed up with the team selection in the League Cup match however he must pick the best available against them in the FA Cup 3rd round.

Here's a question, when was the last time we played Birmingham in the FA Cup?

Whenever it was it’s still not far enough back in history.

Unbelievably it was I think back in the 1930s!

As far as I am aware we have only played them once in the FA Cup, as Small Heath in 1901.

Partly correct, 1901 was the last time we played them and they were known then as Small Heath, but we also played them in 1887, when they were known as Small Heath Alliance. We have never played Birmingham or Birmingham City in the FA Cup.

Anyway I quite enjoyed the league cup trip to Old Trafford, easy to park, pie and chips were nice and got back home within two hours, so I'm looking forward to heading back in January

He picked a team that scored twice and created enough chances to win the game. And even if he picked a full strength side individual errors and fuck ups happen. Man U changed things up to. We could and should have won.

At the outset of the game, he picked a weakened team. Whatever then transpired, it wasn't going all out to win it.  It was a shit line up, as just about everybody including you alluded to in the pre-match thread.
100%

Let’s hope he picks his best team for the FA Cup.  Or else what’s the point.

As long as Olsen is not in goal we'll be fine.
