If anything it will probably make it easier if they come and have a go. We've struggled this season with teams piling everybody behind the ball, so if they come and try to play a bit, I think we should batter them.

It's almost tragic that if we do achieve it, you only get to enjoy it for a few weeks before the big day comes.

1992 was my first real gut wrenching disappointment with Villa.  I was 11.

1959 and 1960 were great disappointments for me.  Two semi-finals one after the other.  I was deeply traumatised to the point that I don't think I've still not got over it.  I was at both.

We lost to the eventual winners every season from 58/59 to 62/63. Admittedly there is a 50/50 chance of this when you lose the semi final.

After that, years we lost to the eventual winner are 76, 77, 80, 82, 92, 00, 04, 10, 11 and 15.
