If we'd started looking like this when Gerrard was appointed, would it be because the players hadn't been arsed for Desno? Of course not, it would have been down to Steve Clough-Shankly-Paisley-Ferguson the Wondermanager.

Anyone else see that frankly tragic video of some Brighton fans queuing to watch a game at someone's house, and the owner in her yellow hi-vis gilet frisking them one by one in her front drive?

I know it's only two games, but the collective determination from those on the pitch to make sure they hold on to their hard-won spoils shows how Emery has convinced everybody to buy into his methods. They've all got their minds in the right place now. And it bodes well for the shorter term that as it's not taken long to cultivate this steeliness, it won't necessarily need an age before we can start adding a bit more flamboyance into the mix.

Yes, it's the worst thing I've ever seen.

I would love to but couldn't find when I looked for it last night. I saw it on a Villa fan's Twitter before the game yesterday but hadn't liked/bookmarked it. It was from a couple of years ago, looks like it's on a summer's day, and is actually worse than it sounds. Was hoping someone here had seen it and could share it.

Good man, that's the one and I hadn't even seen the Arsenal fan bit till now as I found the first 30 secs so cringeworthy.

I did like what someone said on Twitter about Brighton.

'Your beach is covered in gravel'.

Come on guys, lighten up a bit.

It’s harmless, lighthearted  and quite funny, too
