Id defend Emery for trying players out against Man U in the cup as he’s so new to the club, but seeing that horror show on the back of presumably a video of Newcastle away, and then playing him again would be insane.
Maybe he’s alluding to Cash? I can understand any player being nervous about injury days before the WC, but Martinez would of seen that Man U game and know if he’s playing a face about playing, he’s leaving us open to a probable defeat.
