That deflection, what is it with the endless bad luck we get in this fixture?!!!!!

Played like a dream for first 40 minutes and now they're right back in this from very little.

Emery going to have to use all his top level experience to manage this second half now otherwise it could easily fall apart very quickly.

So many good moves from us today but Watkins and buendia make some bizarre decisions on the ball too often.
Man United only 9/2 to win so the bookies certainly know the history of this fixture.

Normally in this fixture if we are winning at half time their manager would tweak things, we’d change nothing and hold on till 80 minutes then crumble.

I’d change Buendia at half time, he’s very weak and sloppy.

Maybe we could give Sanson a go there, although I think Buendia has been pretty good, playing on the half-turn.

Bring on SJM just to piss off Risso. ;)

I'd have a tenner on 5-2 if that happens.

Buendias decision making at times frustrates me . There was one outside the box and I thought hit it son ,the way it's going it will sail in the net but probes a ball to Watkins with his back to goal with two players round him and loses it .just hit it like shaw did for their goal .

This is the test now. I want to see how these players and this management team come through this. We let them back in. Now we need to see out the expected pressure and find a way to get back on top and win this game. It’s squeaky bums time yet again against these wankers

Good to see Bailey and Dinge contribute.

Need to pay back.

He's playing well, just undoes a lot of his good work with brain freeze passes. Cash is the one that worries me, needs to get a lot tighter to their winger. Too keen to stay close to Konsa. Their goal was obviously a fluke (Ramsey turning back on shot after messing up the clearance) but it was coming. Ronaldo should have finished his chance after a brutal Konsa header.

Tough 45 mins coming up, that first 20 mins won't count for anything unless we kick on in second half. No surprise they were very flat to start with. Keep the ball better and they will tire.

We really need to step this up if we’re going to get anything out of this game. Giving them much too much space now.

There was a United player clearly offside when the ball crossed across to Shaw.
Two of them. Was wondering why this wasn't picked up?

Now is the real character test of course, both of UE and the team

The odds of throwing away a 2-0 lead against these as often as we have must be astronomical, I mean millions and millions to one. It’s a headfeck.

Lisandro Martínez should be over at Twickenham.

I think El mastero just needs to give the players what he said about belief , help and confidence to make sure we win this match.
Been the better team by miles and it was only a freak goal that sees them only one goal behind.

Too squeaky bum for me. Hope we can come out and dominate the second half. I’ve seen us go up against Yanited too many times and then not get anything. Their fans know it, our fans know it and both teams know it. I want us to come out with a real ballsy attitude second half and take it to them.

I’ll be hiding behind the sofa.

Ings rather than McGinn. Anyone but McGinn.
