Bailey is a home player.

Martinez should have got booked for that.

How is Dendonker playing please?

Doing his job perfectly in my opinion.

Casemiro lucky there not to get more of Buendia, would have been a straight red all day. Awful tackle

Agree, commentators calling it a great tackle shows that 'he got the ball' is still the only thing that matters for a lot of people though.

Even the fact that the audio on my stream is slightly ahead of the video is not enough to dampen my spirits.

Bailey is going to be a hero under Unai

Weird, I definitely remember reading on here that he was a slow, pointless, lazy waste of money.

He remains me a lot of Tony Daley. Destined to forever blow hot and cold...

Shaw was booked for the foul that resulted in Digne's freekick goal. Need to target him now - push the ball past him and run him. They'll have to put somebody behind him => space elsewhere to exploit.

I expect Emery has taken note.

I agree Paul it was one of those scissor tackles that can cause really bad injuries.

3-4 times Martinez has left something on a villa player, he's a right dirty fucker.

This is brilliant.

Bailey up front in a 4-4-2 - love it

YESSSSS!!!

We’ve scored from a free kick!!

Was just going to say, must be years since the last one. Hourihane in the Championship maybe?

Pretty sure he scored a low one against Newcastle in a 2-0 Monday night win in our first season back in the PL.

I agree Paul it was one of those scissor tackles that can cause really bad injuries.

It looked ok because Buendia didn't have a foot planted, if he's got a foot on the floor there it's a Wesley style horror injury, and there was no need for it other than to 'leave one' on the player.
