Olsen isn't very good. I know it was offside, but he was pathetic in attempting to save that.

We've been ok, but I wish we'd lean more towards attacking rather than trying to frustrate the opposition.

It's obvious we were playing for a 0-0.

Interested to see how quickly before Danks makes changes today. Last week was as easy as it gets at top level in managing a game.

It's a long way from being over. However don't make any changes until it's 2-0 and difficult to see us getting anything.

With the concussion sub we still have five options available to us so use them.

Losing one of our best players to injury seems to be something we do every other week these days.  Frustrating as hell.

For all the love-in commentary, Newcastle are bog standard from what I can see. They have one tactic, which is to get inside Ashely Young.  We are still too wasteful in good positions.  We need a killer centre forward - I'm sure Emery will see that and sort it out in January.

Luiz was great in that half aside from losing the ball on the edge of the area right before the penalty.  Looks a really good player at the moment.

Newcastle are a good team though, considering the quality of the individuals they have. Howe really knows what he's doing.

I've found another stream with an Arabic commentary. Much better. The other lot were unbearable.

Newcastle fans have been bloody nasty tossers today.

Showed their true colours with the joy at being taken over by the worst people in the world. Their club is gone and they don't care.

It’s more the booing of injured players. Thousands of them by the sound of it.

But of course they are pro-physical injury.

Stems from the ownership who are very pro human rights abuse. Fans seem happy enough with it.

That woman's driving me mad, biased bint.

And Southgate laughing his head off when they scored, fucking ******.

Anyway, don't think it's been too bad, some nice moves but they just fall apart at the crucial moment.

Still shit away then. Loads of really pior passes going astray, and the final ball in as crap as ever in away games. Wank.

No idea why we switched Bailey to the right. We won’t score here.

They’re even more biased, you just can’t understand them.

Blimey good to see you’ve given him a chance before you judge him 😂  good save before this one

I've watched Carragher comms on Villa - Liverpool, Neville comms on Villa - United and they've always been fair enough and it hasn't bothered me, but I've just come on here soley to check if I'm barking mad or not, as the commentators are a fucking right couple of Geordie wankers. Relieved to see others have clocked it.

The general set up has been ok, we seemed to get on top of them in the middle of the half.

Watkins seems finished. No confidence, very poor touch. I’d get him off for any of McGinn, Coutinho or Ramsey.

Ash is finally showing his age.

Bizarre their fans booing the Emis for injuries, especially since neither injury stopped play in an attacking position for them?

Watkins with his weekly airshot. It's not really sticking for any of our front 3, and young is being targeted.

Bailey needs to be back on the left. We really need a proper right winger.

Digne should come on for Young. If they bring Saint Maximin on then he will have him for pace
