Still think we should have gone for Dyche. Prove me wrong, Emery!

Yeah the wins are fine and everything but I just wish we'd stick it in the mixer more often.

I still think Dwight Yorke has been continuously and unfairly overlooked.

As well as we played on Tuesday there were times when it all went a bit Arsenal ie one pass too many.

Just been re-reading the Gerrard Out thread (because it's either that or working), and I think AlexAlexCropley was the first to suggest we appoint Emery, two months before we had a vacancy.

Chapeau.

How else is Watkins hold-up play going to improve if we don't lump it forward more often?

I think we should introduce a unique calendar. So today is First day of year 3UE.

I think we've got a new motto to live by -

"I don't want to waste my time here."

Would be great to see that on a banner.

I think the actual quote was, "I'm not here to waste my time".

The two years from 24-10-2022 to 24-10-2024 have been two of the best years I have had supporting the Villa. From the night I first googled Emery's CV until now I have been taken to a different place as a Villa fan. I have learned to just trust the manager. I have never once questioned a team selection, the tactics, the approach to a league cup game. I just trust this man entirely and he has delivered. I hope he stays at least another decade. If he does, we will be adding to out trophy haul, I have no doubt.

Enjoy it while it lasts and hopefully that’s a few good years because he’ll be irreplaceable when he goes

Yep, if he goes on 27 years it’ll see me out which will do fine

He's said it multiple times so depends on the version you use.

We have got to get a better song for the man.

Surely it has to be along the lines of "Let it Be" I can imagine the ground belting this out

"When i find myself in times of trouble, Unai comes to me, speaking words of wisdom - Emery.....and so on"
