My post is deliberately selective about Mings 14 league games to add detail to superficial statistics.

Two the staff in one of our departments, both sharing the same name, have stepped into conclude matters for a member of their team on leave. There is a correlation between ladies called Rebecca and matters settling. I should immediately hire more Rebecca's to improve profitability. Causation has been established and shall now build the department around them.

Or you, Coopers Injury/Shilvillain/Tim Villa are a Poundland Gregg Nash with your incredulous stupidity and goal post shifting. That was his dumb shtick #facepalm

Mings is a talker and a leader Pau is not. Not blaming Pau for the last game debacle as i believe Emery got it all wrong. There are games when you have to build slowly, playing against a side that are on their knees is not one of them.
Correct , and if we are casting our mind back over performances against bottom half clubs as per the poster above did, lets not selectively leave out / forget Everton H 2 conceded, Ipswich A 2 more, Spurs A 4 more , Palace H 2 more , all Torres games .

Have you even looked at who else was playing or even those goals? Ipswich away, Carlos was playing as CB and both Delaps goals came from the left hand side of defence which isn't even Torres side. Palace at home where we had Bogarde as LB, also Carlos and a defensive midfield duo of Barkley and Tielemans and their second goal came from our corner when all defenders were up for the attack. Everton when the first goal came from the left hand side again when Onana fell over. The second could definitely be levelled at maybe Mings might have out jumped DCL but I very much dealt it. Obviously the two chances he had in the second half were Torres fuck-ups, but then neither led to goals.

He hasn’t - it’s like the inverse of when Jermaine Beckford was the best striker in Europe.

If were the manager, and its a bloody good job for all our sakes I'm not, it would be a fairly simple choice. Are we going to dominate possession, does the opposition have a shit hot physical Centre Forward?

Mateta, Jimenez, Delap, that guy at Luton last season bust that theory? We would be expected to dominate possession against those teams.
add the boy at Burnely (Foster ?) who rolled him so easily a couple of games into his Villa career and the issues were clear at the outset he needed to add to the rigours of EPL
Your choosing to just ignore Ad’s post then, not worth commenting on?

It's what he does best. He'll be calling your children special needs next then denying it's what he meant.

(No Coopers I've not forgotten.)

A Poundland Gregnash. Fancy being referred to as that! After that surely you would have to take stock and think about your future comments.

Somehow, I don’t think he will.

I'll let the stats do the talking , even if they are "superficial" . I suppose the end of season league table is superficial too .

Like the one in which a near-everpresent Pau Torres helped his team to 4th?

Also, I mean, the capacity of statistics to mislead is about lesson one on day one of being a goddamn person.

Careful, our highest league finish in decades doesn’t support the narrative.

And just for balance, I think Pau hasn’t had a great season. But that doesn’t mean we should just write him off. He absolutely has loads of quality.

The 4th placed finish that involved a free scoring team but a leaky defence . And since Torres has regressed , badly , cost us huge in the big games this season . Mings is the better CB and i think we need a strong defence / foundation if we want to win things. Mings is 32 so won't be here much longer so we need to find a replacement as imho Torres isn't it , he's too weak defensively .

The purpose of a football team, as a group, is to win games and amass points, that team got the most points we scored in a season this century, take the blinkers off and drop this silly little crusade you 're on because it's fucking boring.

You're boring . Very .
If Mings had stayed fit that season , we would probably have won the league .

No disrespect mate, but 'probably' is quite a leap.
