If he is being demanding in his way, I wish he'd fucking demand some better finishing.

We've kept 3 clean sheets in 25 league games this season. That's the main reason we're mid table.

A fabulous coach but I think the same side that finished with spuds (attacking wise) should have started the game today. He needs to make sure he throws the kitchen sink at the FA Cup, the CL via the league has gone bye bye.

We’ve not found the right balance all season. Inconsistent form, loads of injuries to key players and inopportune times, squad stretched thin from 4 comps.

Whilst all those are true, the manager needs to take some of the blame too.

Of course he does. I sometimes think he overthinks the tactics. Too much detail and subs that haven’t worked or at the wrong time. Where I take comfort from that is he tends to learn from it over the long run which is likely why he’s been as successful as he has. We need a settled team. It’s been way too chop and change this season.

I know injuries have played their part but that’s still an awful stat. Even 5 more clean sheets and we are sitting in the top 4. That’s what’s most frustrating.

Disasi looks like he belongs in our defence, which is a worry.

He didn’t do that badly. It’s his first game.

They might have but this has been a recurring problem for over a year. Basically we need everything to go perfectly to get clean sheets and it’s not sustainable (evidently). Also trying to play in this controlled way is counter intuitive if you can’t keep clean sheets.

We had a difficult task in juggling the players as we are in so many competitions this season, add injuries to that, especially in defence, and I’ve got to say Unai is doing a fantastic job. Decent position in the prem, last 16 Champions League, 5th round FA cup…cast your minds back three years and reflect on how much we are achieving. Yes bloody disappointing performance and result today, but that doesn’t mean the players and manager are shit as suggested by some on here. UTV

Right no one is debating the job Unai has done here - it’s been brilliant. But he does need to look at what we’re doing in the league, we’ve been ponderous and poor (bar a few exceptions) for pretty much a year. If it’s by design then something needs to be changed and if it’s not something needs to be changed, but whatever way you look at it we are underperforming in the league.

I'm suggesting that playing at walking pace in most league games isn't a good idea.

I think our failure to take chances is at least as big issue as the defence.

The defence has suffered from injuries and were clearly too easy to score against - but equally we often make scoring look really difficult.

I’m not worried, I’m sure this summer he’s going to be looking back at a lot of our footage from this season and formulate a plan for next season. We’re still I contention for a decent league finish, we’re in the FA Cup still (WTF!) and we’re in the Champions League.

I’m pretty sure our league form is also playing heavily on his mind too.
