4-2-1-3 according to Greg(g) Evans.

Big day for Dendonkar, but he’s got his work cut out with the rest of the midfield / forward selection which is very attacking.
If it’s 4-3-3 I think I’d have preferred Nakamba for Watkins and I’d still go Coutinho for Buendia. Id also go Chambers for Konsa if he’s fit.

Not sure what to make of that, really. I like the selection of Luiz and Dendoncker, but Watkins has been shite lately and he's no wide man. Mind you, we've got no natural wingers at the club other than Bailey, so I suppose there's not much choice.

Should have signed Sarr, FFS.

He left out Mings - credit where credit due

He's starting. Do you mean McGinn?

Yes sorry. McGinn needed to be dropped

It’s a change. We needed a change.he’s dropped who everyone thought should be dropped. Changed shape.
Fair play.

Let’s go win this.

We likely would have lost with Gerrard in charge so things can't be much worse

Hopefully have a bit more control in midfield. It was embarrassing how much room Fulham had to surge forward in numbers. Good to see McGinn dropped too. Less misplaced passes will help with that control.

Not impressed with the team lineup but hopefully it’s more about attitude today

What would you have done differently?

No Dendonker or Watkins/Ings

Lovely touch from Danny Ings wearing his ear defenders to support the mascot he had with him.
