HT. We've been much the better side.

We have played pretty well, but we’re not going to score.

We will still likely lose this 2 or 3 nil. Our profligacy will be our undoing

Bloody ref's giving them the benefit most of the time.
If we had an in form forward line we'd be coasting.

Ings should have scored by now.

That was a pretty good performance - interesting to see what happens - hopefully they will be just as bad in the s find half

That’s a brilliant first half, can’t fault the effort and also chances we’ve made.

We were very good in that first half, certainly better than Chelsea. Just a shame Mings had to produce one of his massive unforced clangers.

The early goal against meant the handbrake was off for the team, and we played some decent football at times creating chances against on paper a better team.

Come on Villa.

Played really well, should be leading. Why haven't we played like this before?

I can only imagine Chelsea will improve 2nd half so I fear we've missed our opportunity to get back in the game first half.

The double concern is, can we play that well second half, and can they play that badly.

To be fair a fantastic response against a good side. But for some terrible decision making, a couple of fantastic saves and us turning two twenty-a-season forwards into pedestrians we'd be pissing this now.

Contrary to rumours neither of the owners are here.
