Same midfield 3 yet again, why buy Dendoncker ? Sanson and Nakamba warming the bench forever with hardly any chance of any game time.

Another game where we are going to use Underpants Gnomes tactics and nothing else.

Step 1. Do crosses
Step 2. ?
Step 3. Score goals

Gotta love a bench with 0 attackers.

Well if Archer isn’t fit enough then we don’t have any other out-and-out strikers. Coutinho and Buendia are front three forward players though.

Surely there's someone in the under-23s who could get on the bench instead of midfielders who won't get a runout short of nuclear war.

He’s just said on sky it’s to improve us in the final third and make us more potent. Agree with that.  Then he went on to say other than that performances have been good.  Strangely I disagree with that.

Sorry for the cliche but it screams of rearranging the deckchairs on the titanic.

I just think whatever shape that midfield is it’s horribly unbalanced. The front two then just don’t work.

Well the line-up looks turd and we're all expecting to get thumped.

So we'll probably end up putting in our best performance of the season.

Very relaxed about todays game. I don’t expect anything so I won’t be too disappointed.

Might even lead to the hapless Scouser being sacked so….

I wonder if Watkins will do anything today like maybe score a goal?

Strikers won't improve us in the final third. Having a system that creates chances will.

Broadcast is showing it’s a 4-4-2 with a diamond in the midfield and Bailey behind the strikers..?
