When we pass the ball, it's to the man or just behind him, expecting the receiver to do the work. We never seem to pass into space so that the man getting the ball can play it first time or do something quickly.

Having said that Buendia tries something creative to be the exception that proves the rule...

Can't we just bend one ball in behind a defender and have Ollie run onto it through the middle? Just one..

Yeah, that's worrying, they truly have been abysmal but we still are made to look workmanlike (at best) and pedestrian.

I had the choice between going to the game or babysitting my 5 year old grandson. Made the right call by not going!!
