When we pass the ball, it's to the man or just behind him, expecting the receiver to do the work. We never seem to pass into space so that the man getting the ball can play it first time or do something quickly.

Having said that Buendia tries something creative to be the exception that proves the rule...

As soon as Ramsey got booked I knew he'd take him off and leave McGinn on. Gerrard clearly doesn't see how big a problem McGinn is.
