Dire first 30 or so, just about deserved the lead.

Much better once Coutinho got it to feet.

McGinn is such a problem at the moment.

Did Carragher think the crowd were shouting “shoes” when Doug was about to take the corner? 😂

I’m getting bored watching this stiff in the box.
You watching the livestream of Lizzy then?

Dreadful in the main. Phil coming alive sparked us, hope he can keep it up.

We got promoted.

Hopefully that goal breeds some confidence. Great to be one up but it’s all so disjointed it makes your eyes bleed.

McGinn needs hooking and the shape needs fixing asap.

Southampton are a zero.

Yes need to actually give the ball to him. He’s looking a lot more spritely in the last couple of games.

How poor is McGinn? Shocker, again.

Bit of a mess. If we hadn't scrambled one in I'd be fuming with that. But we scored, so it makes it a little bit more palatable.

Get Clive on in the second half for McGinn and he can sit with Doug moving further forward.
Not great but it’s probably better to at least still be in the game and give yourself a foundation, which we’ve done. I know it’s only Southampton and we want to see attacking football all game, especially against the lesser lights but I’ll accept the performance as it is so far.
