Well we know we'll be free to play a rearranged fixture on FA Cup 4th round day.

Don't be so defeatest, I think we're capable of winning at Old Trafford

Toilet limescale, Bochum and Covid tests. All grim as feck, but reckon I can top them.  I'm studying for my next accountancy exam.

Best of luck, which one are you studying for?

Well we know most clubs aren't going to do it, a bunch of them have already said they aren't. Point is, they very easily could if they wanted to.

The rest of it has zero to do with what Monty said. I don't think the games should have been cancelled, but that's got nothing to do with what we originally replied to, same as League 1 and 2 clubs have nothing to do with it. The debate was, PL clubs choosing not to pay people. Them having to make that decision is a different debate.

Well the point I made is that thousands and thousands of people aren't going to be paid, and that point remains a cold, hard fact. There will also be no way of Man City knowing who the agency ends up paying.

It’s not just the clubs and casual staff, many pubs near grounds make a fair amount of their revenue from match days.

I live near the QPR ground and the gaffer of my local, which is in a side street away from major footfall, told me that without football the pub isn’t viable. He counts on 15 Saturday 3pm kick offs a season. Customers from 11 -2.30ish, and again from 5-11pm with food sales on top of booze. Midweek night matches give him a shorter window, roughly 5-7.30pm and 1 hour after the game. Sunday matches fall off sharply compared to Saturday, and even early Saturday kick offs don’t have the same revenue as the 3pm games. He books extra staff for match days, and he kitchen increase their food orders from suppliers too.

His model is based on QPR covering his running costs for the year. Everything else is his profit, mainly made up of Wednesday - Saturday trade, with some live music and quiz nights etc. Today’s cancellation will definitely have dented his revenue.

No, she was the Freak. Vinegar Tits was Vera Bennett. Er, so I was told, like.
