He was sat in his Range Rover on Whitehead Rd in the traffic straight after the game, we walked past him. He obviously wasn't hanging around.
Neither do I after I finish my shift - straight out the door and into the car. Fucking off home ASAP.

I've been meaning to ask whether players hang around at Villa Park after a game. My impression (maybe mistaken) was that back in the day they'd have a few drinks in the directors/players lounge after the game. Does that still happen at all or does it depend on the player?

Another incredibly assured display today. Long term he might lose his spot to Kamara but he’s been very good in doing the simple stuff well

Be great see see him and Kamara play together and push Douglas further forward.

According to Whoscored, 100% pass completion today. Didn't give the ball away once. Bravo, if you don't give it away, you don't have to win it back.

He did well but I its an adventurous formation to have him as an outside right, as we saw just before he came off.

I love the way he surges into the opposition box on occasion.  His decision making is excellent.

Seems to do his job with the minimum of fuss. Can't ask for more really.

He did very well again.

Great to have Kamara back but Dendoncker made himself look undroppable today.

As others have said, maybe play him and Kamara together, push Luiz forward and drop Buendia, who I thought gave the ball away too much today.

No one played badly today at all, but id agree that Beundia was slightly the weak link, gave the ball away too much and struggled to contain Dalit in the first half, still put in a shift though.

He’s very good at what he does. I thought he was a decent signing when we bought him and he’s demonstrated that since.

Brings extra height and physicality at set pieces as well.  Agree that he will probably be back up when Kamara is back to full fitness, but a good option to have in the squad.
