I couldn't even change my own thread title. Bloody power-crazed moderators. 😕

We run a very tight, efficient ship here. Sometimes.

Like all new signings I wish him the very best of luck, be good, and welcome.

Is he an upgrade on what we’ve got though, as I thought that’s what our strategy was ? Wolves fans are saying his replacement is an upgrade on him. Are we that far behind wolves ?

I’ve always thought he’s pretty good - in an efficient, makes the midfield tick and generally makes the team more structured kind of way. I think he offers us something we lack at the moment and will hopefully stop us being so easy to run through. As for the Wolves fans, who knows but they would say that.

Ah you can see he’s been given a script, “it’s a very good team with very good players”.

The big clue was when he said "and a very good manager".

He should be Oscasr nominated for pulling that bit of the script off while keeping a straight face.

I can't help but wonder why we didn't sign him or anyone else before a ball was kicked instead of on deadline day. I think this is endorsing Gerrard  by giving him new players to work with - I'd imagine if a new manager was to come in anytime soon we wouldn't be signing players that he perhaps would'nt want? I dunno, messes up your head does the Villa .

£13m for a 27 year old International midfielder is not bad really.

Don't know much about him.  However, I've heard he's tall and got some muscle on him.  If anything has been obvious from the last couple of games, it's that we are far too easily pushed off the ball.   Buendia and Watkins go down at the drop of a feather.  Kamara is lightweight, Luiz the same.  Ramsay has a bit more strength, but that's not really his game.  We need a big bastard filling up the middle - hopefully he can do that.

I disagree on Kamara but otherwise this is exactly it, he's not exciting and he's not going to be the creative influence that wins us games but he will make us tougher in midfield, he'll win the ball on the ground and in the air and he's generally pretty good at moving the ball quickly to the players that will create things. I think some on here have got it in their heads that he's a bit of a donkey but that's just not the case at all.

Do you like to kick a good goal?
Is it nice to win?
Is Canada big?

No Kamara will be excellent but I’m hoping Dendonker will be a player to support Kamara’s attributes.

I sometimes wonder are footballers all compete fucking divs that they get asked those types of questions. Or is it that the journalists or interviewers are complete morons? Or maybe it’s both.

I think each thinks the other is due to the questions that are asked and answered.
