Genuine question, if we are all expecting a defeat on Saturday - which isn’t unexpected by any means - is booing them off justified should it happen? This lot could destroy any team in the world, after all.

And I’m not defending anyone here by the way!

Depends how they play, I wouldnt ever boo if effort is flat out

Now that Luiz has stayed he can score his corner. 1 - 5.

I've never booed, not sure if I ever would, but people pay their money, they can do what they like.

1-0 to Villa. That reptilian tosser Haaland to mistake the ball for an egg of his own laying, nestle it inside his own goal in one of the most tender and poignant OGs ever, before blasting off to his home planet, the accompanying flames then igniting the alcohol fumes from Grealish's breath, blowing the whole Man City bench to buggery and causing severe shrapnel injuries to every single of their outfield players.

Five minutes gone, 85 remaining, 1-0 to the Villa, and nobody but a blood-soaked and temporarily-blinded Ederson to withstand the might and prowess of the marauding Villa attackers.

There are several close calls and a tense period of injury time camped inside their own box, but Villa hold on.

FT 1-0.

Frankie Boyle-esque monologue vibes, I like it. Could do with the shrapnel taking out the Villa coaching staff as well, mind.

I cannot foresee a scenario in which they are not sheltered from danger by McGinn's arse.

This chap is coming to Villa Park on Saturday and I am not sure how Konsa and Mings are going to cope with him? He is a total freak, nothing like him has ever appeared on a top level football field before. I can't think of any sportsman with same ferocity as this man. Nearest examples are maybe Jonah Lomu, Mike Tyson and Boris Becker.
In football terms I am trying to  but can't compare him with any single forward player in my life time. So I think the only ways is to compare him is with a player made up from multiple  forwards. There are many examples I could choose but if I just look at Villa forwards  over the past 40 years he, to me represents Andy Gray, Cyril Regis and Dwight Yorke all rolled into one. And even that probably doesn't do him justice.
What do the forum think?

I think he can be discussed in the pre-match thread, mate. And, I'm trying not to think about him too much.

A young Ronaldo (the real one). Saw him live a few times, nothing made sense, he was on another planet. Wesley still has a lot to learn.

After 5 league appearances he's already more than 25% of the way to breaking the PL record for most goals in a season, and that was set in a 42 game season. He's a freak.

Vivid imagery, ultraviolet/violent. Excellent work, Rory.

Those alcohol fumes emanating from Grealish, wouldn't happen to be Japanese whiskey from a H&Ver, would they?

I know who you're referring to, but I'm not sure. Do the Japanese make whiskey with gold flakes in? I imagine that's the kind of thing that settles it for Joe.

He certainly is. His facial features are not those of a human. He has the shiny skin of a cooked lobster, and I suspect he produces an ungodly amount of ear wax.

Heard he's a good footballer as well, but I wouldn't know. I've been sleeping quite well recently, so my GP withdrew my prescription for 10 minutes of Man City before bed.
