Owners are full of shit.
CEO is full of shit.
Recruitment team is full of shit.
Manager is full of shit.

European football my ass.
So everyone except the players then??? The same players who were “full of shit” under Smith???

I'm still none the wiser regarding Gerrard's tactics.

Arsenal are a good team who are absolutely buzzing at the moment, but I don't think the gulf in class should be that big.

May as well get a thread going for the Citeh match. Need to see if the 14 or so think we will win that one as well.

Owners full of shit - Christ almighty.

The actual issues -

There is simply no structure of attack, I genuinely don’t know what our plan is.
The players look shorn of confidence.
Something needs to change - it might well be a change of manager, an influx of new players, a lucky break, or a combination of all those things. But it’s looking bleak.

Oh and conceding straight after scoring, absolutely unforgivable.

I keep getting told they're good enough. Despite asking, nobody has said what they're good for

Positives: It wasn't the heavy loss I thought it would be (through good fortune) and Luiz's goal.
Negatives:
Another loss-4 in 5 games.
19th in the table.
Gerrard's team never do anything against the sl6 teams.
No resilience-today's was the 3rd game this season where we've conceded a goal within minutes of scoring.
The reasons just keep on coming why this guy should be nowhere near Aston Villa.

We need answers and fast . We've been lied to with this vision of competing in the top half . We have had a shite transfer window, a inexperienced manager and are all f"****g talk.

If the club didn't give us false hope all the time it wouldn't be as bad but they fill us with crap .

With you on this one

Absolute horse shit from 1-11.

Martinez - wank
Mings - fucking sub Titus Bramble shit
McGinn - fat useless knacker
McGinn - less ability than my labrador chasing a balloon
Buendia - would struggle in the U11s

Gerrard - fuck off, and when you’ve got there, fuck off some more.

Bag of shite, shit fucking bastards.

For all their possession both goals were keeper errors. Cash was rinsed by Martinelli and for their winner he completely switched off as to the threat from an Arsenal player running unmarked towards goal behind him. He only had to turn and run at him and put him off. I take a slight bit of comfort with the battling spirit and the spell in the second half where we looked pretty decent with the ball. It was a bad time to play Arsenal they are on fire. Our worst start in the Premier league since 92. The clock is definitely ticking for Gerrard. Pochetino won't be out of work for long.....

I don't know if Martinez doing an impression of Les Sealey tonight is  Gerrard's fault . That said , we were lucky to stay in the game after that first half. I think the Leicester and Southampton games will seal his fate.

Poor from Martinez on both goals. He should've caught the first and punched Martinell's shot out instead of flapping at it.

Zero confidence that it’ll get any better under this manager.
