44 is good

He’s outstanding. I just want him playing with a couple more players of that quality.

I wonder when the maestro will bring Buendia on.

As a unit the midfield looks much better. Kamara and dougie both looking comfortable and mature.. McGinn on the other hand, frantic and jittery. I think he’s just trying to create some luck for himself.

We’ve got to bag the first goal and we’ve got the subs to do it.

Anyone watching on a firestick who can tell me a channel? NZ 8 is driving me mad with the buffering.

We look good. I can’t square how well organised we look in the home games so far vs the panicky basketball of the away matches. We’ve controlled the game well and it’s clear we’re trying to get Watkins and Ings in down the channels after moving them in the middle.

The midfield looks SO much better balanced with Luiz and Kamara in there and not surprisingly it’s freed up McGinn to actually do what he does best and annoy the shit out of Soucek and Rice.

These, despite being in shit form, are still one of the most solid defensive teams in the league, so we’re never going to score 3/4. Just need to open them up once - primed for Buendia to win this for us.

One big problem we have is Cash and Digne don't create enough quality crosses from the many they get in, ball is too often flat and low and easy for likes of Zouma to stoop to head away.

Cresswell hit in a decent cross that flew right through our six yard box and we eventually conceded a corner, we've got men in the box today but the delivery just isn't good enough.

Also - Konsa and Chambers compliment each other really well. I’d like to see them given a run of games with Carlos out.

BBC 5 Live …. “This is a hard watch”

Sums it up

We could all predict that when we saw the team sheet. No pace at all means everything has to be played in front of the opposition defence.

Having said that, the cockney twats are parking the bus.

Would Buendia be worth a go in the second half? He brings that sharpness and pace which we are a little lacking.

Yes, and one of the two forwards is a waste of time really. You can make an argument for one of them - but it's one of them.

Also McGinn, bad, just bad, anyone else please.

West ham are poor ,don't look like scoring, got no confidence,we should be winning a game like this 2 or 3 -0 . Yet we just haven't done enough,we look.so pedestrian,it's really missing the pace of Leon  and the nusiance and creativity of buendia .

We are just bland as fcuk

Sky reckon we dominating but struggling to score.

Struggling to get the ball anywhere near west ham's 18 yard box.

You can see the why WH haven’t scored a goal this season.
Worse than Everton.

Don’t like these sort of cocky posts, given our current form. Why tempt fate?

Because there is no such thing as fate, luck, or astrology!!

Wasn't hugely optimistic with that line up, but encouraging so far.

Not too many nervy moments from us at the back. That could change if they bring Antonio on to do his usual bull in a chinashop routine, mind.

Coutinho has looked OK, but good to see how Buendia's more direct approach will fare when he gets on.

Would really like to see a positive tactical change at half time. Switch up to 4231. Luiz to drop in next to Kamara. Take off either striker, not working to put it mildly with them. I'd take off Coutinho too. Bailey and Buendia on. Give us a bit more energy.

To finish on a positive, Konsa has looked sharp.

Best performance of the season so far. Comfortable all over the pitch, just need a bit more quality in the final third required.

Why was the goal ruled out?
