Blimey WH are dire.

They are much worse than I thought they would be so far.

Are we any better?

We've been comfortably the better side, just not creating clear cut chances.

Kamara doing really well today.

Taking to a Marseille season ticket holder yesterday, he reckons Kamara is going to be a world beater. Said he reminded him of Makalele.

He makes breaking up their play look easy sometimes.

HT. The better side but didn't create a fat lot. West Ham are awful.

Stephen Warnock on 5 live "Villa have no cutting edge. Couthnio has been quiet & Watkins & Ings are feeding on scraps". Who would have guessed?

Aside from one magic little through ball to Ings (who fucked up the cross to Watkins) that is a fair summation.   It looked ominous to me after 5 mins so at least were not being bullied out of it.  But there is no cutting edge.

You can see the why WH haven’t scored a goal this season.
Worse than Everton.

Don’t like these sort of cocky posts, given our current form. Why tempt fate?

Because there is no such thing as fate, luck, or astrology!!

And we can be so dippy at the back. That ball by Chambers-under no pressure and plays that kind of ball. Konsa headed a ball earlier like it was an American football.

They aren't bad players...just something isn't right.

In fairness first 30 minutes you could see first time this season in league an actual plan and we had some good moves with Ollie drifting wide. Set piece goal ruled out was just unlucky with it drifting out, sort of set piece taking we need to see more regularly.

Last 15 minutes it's just been back to plodding and sideways passing. Have to say Kamara's been really good breaking up attacks, makes it more infuriating we can't get the right sort of structure around him.

Even for a Moyes team bottom of the league West Ham have been ridiculous negative, reminds me of how West Brom played in play offs against us so massive opportunity missed if we don't win this.

Subs can make a difference here with space Coutinho is getting 30 yards from goal.

Would Buendia be worth a go in the second half? He brings that sharpness and pace which we are a little lacking.
