Gerrard's lack of inventiveness and tactical ineptitude gets us worried before we even kick a ball. Its amazing that one of the best England Midfielders who captained his club and country cannot get the basics right.

I always say ill be happy to be proved wrong and that Gerrard will surprise me, but sadly the inevitable always happens. For me not conceding in the first 15 minutes will be an improvement.

Happy with Luiz starting. Him and Kamara will have to be extremely disciplined given it's a CB combination we've never put out on same pitch together at prem level.

I don’t believe a word of why Mings is missing. SG has made a right cock up with regards to the captaincy situation with pissing Mings off and appointing one of the worst people capable of being a captain in McGinn.
