I hope Gerrard doesn't continue to keep selecting Coutinho ahead of Buendia if his form doesn't merit it.

Buendia should be the first name on the sheet.

I'm hoping Gerrard sees a reflection of Michael Owen in Cam.

Sadly that’s about my level of expectation. Play little EMI and we’ll win comfortably.

Nothing like setting a pretty high bar!

I'm a full blown pessimist but even I wouldn't predict us to lose this one so respect to the 13 who think we are going to lose. I need to up my game.

Will likely be the starting team against Rennes on Saturday won't it?

Me too, but we're going to smash Bournemouth and smash the season.

Poll added. Amateur.
Villa not win includes a draw so you’re options aren’t mutually exclusion.

1-1 newly promoted teams are always excitable early season.

I'm always optimistic at the start of every season so 0-4 Villa win.
