Mate of mine has suggested taking a drink into Aston Park to soak up the weather on Saturday. Is that a thing?

Can't see why not , pleasant enough isn't it.
Many people buy Beers from the shop next door to Alibaba Fish & Chip shop and stand out the front . With the cost of living I expect many more will take up that option rather then paying pub or ground prices . The last lager I had at Villa Park was awful

They do also have a fanzone bar at Trinity Road outside now so there’s an option. The queues aren’t anywhere near as bad as inside either.

I might take more than a few drinks in my living room to soak up the football on Saturday.

Yes quite a few do it, although you'll need to find somewhere quiet to have a pee.  Please take you cans and bottles to a bin though, pisses me off when I see them lying around.

Yeah, that boils my piss. There's a massive bin next to the burger stand outside the Holte entrance. No excuses.

It was slow today underneath the holte. I went downstairs on 35 mins to get a beer and the kids some water, i got served 5 mins before the players came back out.
Maybe the not the right week being so hot, but i cant understand why they dont look at how many Heineken or Amstels are sold at each bar and pre pour a load of pints pre match and a few mins before the half time rush.

They should just make it bottled beer only and be done with it.

I doubt glass bottles are a good idea in grounds.

My son and I did this today for the first time. Very pleasant until some twat started puking up by us and then the chavs walked through openly snorting coke.
