First half Ings, Watkins & Couthino were too narrow & offered no pace. We were unable to close Utd down quick enough & kept losing the ball.

Once Bailey & Buendia came on we kept  & moved the ball better. Offered a threat going forward & Kessler who looked really useful.

We have options across the whole squad, with the exception of up front. Ings just doesn't have it for me.

I’d drop Mings for Bournemouth and start with Carlos and either Konsa or Chambers. Give him a huge kick up the arse. His concentration is shite and so is his passing.

We might just benefit from the five subs rule after all.

Never had any doubt that our Steven will sort it i the second half.

In our Stevie G we trust! 8)

This is very tedious, just so you know. Overcoming the word filter hardly requires Alan Turing.

It’s tedious that people have to bother. It’s hardly swearing.

Exactly.

The phrase is only used to try to annoy people. Not sure what's the point of that. You're the only poster that does it. Exactly the same as when Coopers Injury started saying "The Theatre of Dreams" every three posts.

Oh well. Anyway, shouldn't you be busy scanning the forum in case someone criticised Tyrone today?

Didn't watch the game so wouldn't be aware whether their playing criticisms were valid. Obviously the non-playing criticisms never are.

Very strange. 700 posts and never noticed him before. Then out of nowhere, that nonsense.

First thing I did was check the age and post count. I know I don't post much but I lurk on here all the time and I cant remember a single post by him. A Milan Baros in 2022, who'd of thought it

Think there was one a short while back that seemed a bit strange, that stood out and the rather odd username.

If people weren't convinced of the Sky bias for MUFC, get this just now; "Manchester Utd finish their pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia - (after the break) find out how they got on against Aston Villa," Sky needs a regulator.

I was actually getting score updates from the Sky App, presumably as it was against Man Yoo. I didn't get any for the Leeds game.

In justification of the two up front, everybody wants Archer involved and we need Ings and Watkins up to fitness, too. The only way to do that is to play two up front at times.

So, I'm hoping, two up front is just a way of keeping our strikers involved and getting them up to fitness in pre-season.

We better not be daft enough to persevere with it in proper games.

I was going to post something whinging about playing Ings and Ollie together again, but this makes sense. So fair enough.

The problem isn’t playing 2 up front
It’s the 2 upfront we are playing
