I just don’t understand how Buendia doesn’t get into this side for one of the forwards.
You mean not play Watkin and Ings together? Steady on.

They have total control, it's like a replay of last season, can't keep the ball, two forwards who have no chemistry and a non existant midfield. Ramsey is wasted playing in that position and apart from his first couple of games Coutino has been a disappointment.

That was really bad. Looked identical to the majority of last season… Watkins can’t trap a sand bag. Passing straight to the opposition. Comedic defending. No threat going forwards. It should be 4-0.

Why isn’t our best player, Buendia, playing? He always wants the ball, usually does something with it and is always up for it.

Gerrard has learned absolutely nothing from last season and that will ultimately be his downfall

I think we are ok. New guys good, I tend to blame whats happening in our RB area - positionally and technically, for neg results, as i did  last season   :-\

There will be hell to pay if any of the players (from either team) get injured.
Really? When has that ever happened. It’s not a friendly in the normal sense. It may not be competitive but both clubs are chasing money .

well today one club is chasing it, the other is staggering along like a one-legged zombie from the walking dead.

And Gerrard is targeting top 8?  Must have been on the Fosters

I just don’t understand how Buendia doesn’t get into this side for one of the forwards.
I thi that alone is reason enough to get rid of our Steven.

He said the other day or at least indicated he was going to ramp up the minutes for key players.  Therefore I’m seriously worried that Buendia is not going to feature from the start in league games.  How can he not see these errors?

We don't keep the ball well enough & nothing will change until we do. Whether that's the players, formation, tactics or a combination.

It’s only a preseason friendly
The only thing that matters is match fitness
It’s raining very hard
The pitch conditions are dreadful
It’s been a useful workout

Just setting the theme and default position for after the game

If I was Buendia I would be talking to my agent.
