Aston Villa v Man U 3rd round FA Cup friendly - 23 July 10.45am UK time

Hoping to see an improved performance and a bit more of our likely shape for next season. Time to give a few players an extended run rather than a complete change at half time?

I hope Archer starts again, I want to see him against half decent Premier League opposition.

I'd like to see something resembling the first team start this.  It seems the games so far have been tailored to see how specific partnerships get on, but this, and Rennes in particular, should be now seeing how our first team get on.

I'd like to see more of Archer and KKH.

What I expect it to be:

                              Martinez

          Cash     Carlos          Mings      Digne

                       McGinn     Kamara

              Bailey       Coutinho     Ramsey

                             Watkins

What I would like to see:

                              Martinez

          KKH     Chambers   Carlos       Digne

                     McGinn        Kamara

            Buendia      Ramsey     Coutinho

                              Archer

They'll cheat and win. Of course they will.

The other friendly thread seems to have disappeared so I'll ask here as nobody reads "Match Threads & Player Ratings".

Are there any photos of us with the actual trophy that we are supposed to have won?

I dont care if this was a knitting competition i would want to smash these thundercunts.

Score a few then hurt a few as these should be in our direct sights this season to be catching so lets put a marker down.

Both teams used to be great once upon a time and now are not - difference is we accepted it and moved on

VAR is getting ready for when Rat face falls over

God i have a hatred for them that is not surpassed by anything else

Hope Morgan and Fred get a look-in, Keinan too if he's staying.

Thirded. May their demise be long and painful. They're still the only set of fans that I refuse to discuss football with. They give tossers a bad name, even the Rags down the road don't come anywhere close, they're just there to be laughed at.

This above all else - and there are hundreds of reasons to hate them - is the main one.

You only have to listen to that sneering gobshite Goldstein on Talk Shite (or United FM as it should be called) to know exactly why.

I would not say it was Blose level of obsession but they are the 2nd result i look for and hope they have lost.

Not sure if serious...
